Shape Card

Spellbinder Curved Rectangles Dies
Cuttlebug Floral Screen Embossing folder for middle layer
My Minds Eye paper
Sentiment stamp from Inkadinkado Greetings stamp set
Swiss Dot embossing folder on the Tattered Floral Flowers
McGill pine punch

The kids had to head back home yesterday, both of them had to go back to work today, the house always seems so quiet after they leave.  Loved hearing my daughters laughter she is a happy girl and that makes her Momma very happy too :)  Just before they were leaving they were in the bed room packing up their things and I could hear her laughing and I said Oh I want to remember that laugh and then I broke down and cried, guess I am still getting use to her being on her own.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Hope your new year is starting off well,
Connie

It's tough when your kids first leave home. I always enjoy having my son home for a visit and as much as I pamper him when he's here, I always wonder if I did enough or spent enough quality time with him. Of course, I worry needlessly. Just being a mom! I love your card! Great arrangement of those fun and funky flowers. Perfectly cheerful for a birthday card!

So pretty, I love the colors you used and all the shapes and textures.
Glad you had a nice visit with your daughter and I know good byes are hard. When we dropped my oldest at university in the fall, I went to hug her good bye and out of nowhere started to cry. And this is her second year! I don't think we ever stop missing them and the little girls they were just yesterday!

What a lovely card. I haven't used those dies in a while. You might have inspired me to get them out again.
Hugs and smiles
