Our Valentine's

I used a card that Monika made for the inspiration for my hubby's Valentines card.

I wanted to go a little more rustic with mine, found out I didn't have any wing stamps, so I used Butterfly wings and just cut them in half.

Christna Renee'-- Butterfly stamp
Heart-- stamped onto red paper
Spellbinders-- Labels eight and Labels four dies
Inkadinkado-- Greetings/Salutations for sentiment and hearts
Distressing
Walnut Distress ink

My hubby made me a card using a Decorating Magazine one of the girls in his office had that she was getting ready to throw away.

Isn't that neat how he did the design on the front and with the heart broken up it is a cross :)  He said the V's were hard to find.

The inside of the card was so creative and took the most time and it meant so much to me that he went through so much trouble to make sense out of just cutting out words and phrases, I think this has to be my favorite so far that he has done for me :)

The rose came from a paper doily that was on a bag of candy that his lady boss gave all the workers in my husbands shop.  He is quite the recycler.

Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day, and your weekend is great too:

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Connie

OMG, these cards are fab! The one from your husband is just amazing! Maybe I should drop a hint to my hubby by showing him this one. ;) I think heartfelt handmade cards are the best.
