Back Home

Hi everyone, I was away for a week celebrating our 30th Anniversary with my Hubby.  It isn't actually until the end of the month but we went a few weeks early so that we could enjoy the Beautiful Fall colors in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  I hadn't been up there since I was a teenager and went with my parents and my hubby couldn't remember when he had been up there last.

You can't help but be in Awe of God's Awesome creation while up there in all the woods and the colors were just Amazing, in places it had already gone but on the whole it was just perfect, we made our way from one end to the other, put almost 2,000 miles on our car, I didn't want to come back, but our little furbabies were so happy to be home again :)

Now onto the card that I sent to my nephew before we left for our trip.

Technique Tuesday-- All aboard stamp set, colored with markers
DCWV -- Wild Splendor stack paper
Christina Renee-- Ruler stamp, shading with ink
Taylored expression-- sprockets dies, cut out of DCWV, Metallic stack paper
Spellbinders -- Classic Square and Lg classic inverted square dies
Vellum
Hero Art -- Birthday messages

We just arrived home yesterday so I haven't had time yet to even look at the pictures we took but if there is anything good I will share them in my next post.

I hope you all enjoy a great weekend.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

HI Connie what a wonderful trip, road trips are the best in my opinion. Great quality time with the hubby. Happy Anniversary (Early). You are 5 years ahead of Steve and I.
I bet your furbabes were happy to be back home. That is the hard part about leaving home. We take ours, but it would be fun to go without them at least once. Lovely cute owl card. Have a wonderful blessed SONDAY! Hugs
