ODBDSLC192 Shaped Card

A girl at church lost her mother this past week, so I decided to use the challenge over at Our Daily Bread for a starting off point for her card.  You can find out all the details on the challenge HERE on their blog .

Thought this verse is good for those times when you just don't know if you will get past the point of hurt and sorrow, that God is there to strengthen and get us through each day.

Our Daily Bread designs-- Scripture collection One, stamp set
Spellbinders -- Grand Scalloped Circles and Large Deckled Rectangles dies
Memory Box-- Fabulous Phlox die (flowers and leaves)
Best Occasions -- Mixed Media papers

I do know it is the first of the month and I usually have my inspiration card but I have had a busy week and haven't had a chance to get it made, but I will work on that today and either get it posted here later today or more likely tomorrow.

Thanks so much for taking the time out to stop by and visit and for your sweet comments,

Connie

Oh, Connie, first of all, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of this girl's mother! What a very hard thing to deal with as a young girl! Praying for her and for all those in your church who will minister to her during this difficult time. What a beautiful verse and one that is truly encouraging for us all, but it will be extra special for this young girl. I love the shape and the beautiful flowers and foliage you've added! So glad you've joined us this week once again for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! You truly are shining His light to this precious girl! Hugs, sweet friend!

A beautiful reminder of the strength at hand. I do love how you've made the circle shape with the verse attached. Pretty and subtle papers with your lovely die cut flowers. Comforting.

Oh I am so sorry to hear about this little girl's loss of her mother. What a difficult thing for a young girl to go through. I will be praying for her as well as the church as they try to be there for her and meet her needs. She will so appreciate your card and thoughtfulness.

Your card is beautiful with that amazing verse which is one of my faves, the shape and the flowers. Great color combo and design Connie!! Thanks for joining us at ODBD this week!!
