So sorry

This is for a cardmaker that I met on line many years ago, a group of us still get together on the weekends on line to catch up on each others lives.  Her son in law has been battling cancer for some time now and he passed away this past week, this is going out to her and her daughter.

Greg asked me if there were any borders that I have been wanting and haven't gotten yet and I showed him this picture over at Stamp TV I just love that border and so he used "I draw" on his apple computer to make this border and then cut it out with the cameo.  As you see he added a little flourish on top so that is a little different, later he made one without if I didn't want that added.  When I found this paper when I went to make the card I thought the style of the border went very well with the paper.

Inkadinkado -- Garden delight stamp set, in black and gray
Teresa Collins -- Carolina Breeze
Spellbinders classic ovals die
Border made by hubby cut with Silhouette Cameo

We have been having terrific weather here the past few days, I have been getting out and doing a bit of weeding until I start to get a bit dizzy, but I am doing so much better now.

Hope you are enjoying some wonderful spring weather this weekend where you are,
Thanks so much for taking the time out to stop by and leaving your comments, I really appreciate that,

Connie

This is really beautiful, Connie. Love the way you shadowed the image. I'm so sorry for your friend. She has suffered the most heartbreaking loss.

Lovely card Connie but unfortunately for a very sad occasion. My Deepest Sympathy to your friend's family. My own son battled cancer 3 years ago but Thank God he survived despite being very seriously ill.

Oh how heart-wrenching! My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Your card is beautiful, Connie, and you are so kind to think of others with your handmade cards. The Lord certainly uses you in a special way.

Hope you are doing well. Hugs!

This is such a beautiful sympathy card Connie. The tones are perfect and the shadowed stamping is really well done.
