Linda's Inspiration

Good Morning everyone, I saw this card from Linda and it gave me the want to give the Spellbinder Lily die a try. I loved that I didn't have any dies like it so I bought it then I was to afraid to give it a try. I have been following Linda for some time now, I think I found her when trying to find spellbinder die ideas way back when I started buying them.  She does such Beautiful work, you will have all kinds of inspiration after visiting her Blog .

Now I don't think that I would try mailing a card with this flower on it but I will be hand delivering this one, so it will be ok.  The background die and embossed background is another from a set that my Secret Sister gifted me, all I did was add some distress ink to the background, and popped up the top portion with dimensional adhesive.  Flower started off as white cardstock and I used distress inks and a fine tip sharpie.

David Tutera -- Celebrate A2 layers background (can be found at JoAnns)
Distress Inks -- Tumbled Glass, worn Lipstick and spun sugar
Spellbinders -- Create a Stargazer Lily and Foliage Flourish dies
Technique Tuesday -- Happy Birthday sentiment stamp (cut a notch for a banner)
Dried Baby Breaths from Michaels

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and your comments they are much appreciated,

Connie

No, seriously? A lily die? That is so gorgeous! And the way you colored and dotted it is exquisite! Love it on that gorgeous die background. Such a lovely card, Connie! I'm tempted to get the lily die for boxes and 3D things like that. Looks like it would be not so great for mailing, but it is magnificent!

The lily is absolutely gorgeous Connie. I love it on your card. You could make a box to present your card in, that would be beautiful! HHmmmm, now that's got me thinking. Making boxes for cards . . . . I feel an idea coming on . . . LOL!
