Water Challenge

The challenge from my group was to make a water scene on your card.  Since my Son in Law's birthday is coming up and my daughter mentioned they are heading to the coast shortly after his birthday I thought that would be a good card for his birthday.  I used quite a few stamps out of the same stamp set to make this scene.  Wink of stella was added to the sun, lighthouse and the waves to give it some sparkle.

Inkadinkado -- Coastal/Maritime stamp set-- markers added to build the scene and color the sun
Distress inks -- Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon for sky and water
Cloud 9 design -- Simple thoughts Quote stickers
Wink of Stella -- brush clear glitter pen

An update on Evelyn -- She had her first bowel movement late Friday night, this is what we were praying for and she has had another since so things seem to be working well there.  Last night they started her on milk again, 3ml in an hour through a tube, if all goes well they will allow 3ml by mouth today, so we are praying that she tolerates this all well.  Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes for her.

We have a very rainy start to our Sunday, hope you have been enjoying a great weekend and have a blessed Sunday!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

Oh, Connie, what a beautiful card and a lovely beach scene!! It reminds me of the days we had our sailboat! Your SIL is going to love it! I'm so thankful and praising God for the update on sweet Evelyn! Continuing to pray for her and her dear family as God continues to heal this precious one! Enjoy the rain, and I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Sunday! Hugs!

Hi dear Connie - what a beautiful clear and crisp card for your son in law!
I wouldn't mind being inside the picture myself!
May I also offer my prayers for the dear little baby? I read her story after I came back from my Dad's...such good news that so far things are going well post operatively. It is such an intensely worrying time for the parents, my prayers for them too.

Hope you and hubby are well! (Hugs)

The beach scene is lovely! Love the lighthouses. So glad baby Evelyn's fever broke and she will be well soon! It hasn't rained here in over a week and we really need it! Back at you for stopping by!

Connie, I am in awe of your creativity and craftsmanship. Anyone can purchase stamps and markers, but it takes a special gift to imagine and create the card. I've enjoyed looking through your blog. Thanks for visiting me at MyMinkBetty. I am praying for sweet Evelyn.
