Embossed Stencil

A little while back I told you that I bought this new stencil and made 4 different panels with it, well here is my next try I did.  Using Versamark ink I added it through the stencil and then embossed with white embossing powder.  If you want to get a refresher of what I did with the last one you can see it HERE .

I just had to add a few dots in the center of each one with stickles :) The metal sunflower is one that I purchased early on and I think I found it at the $ store, I still have a few more in the pack.  I added foam adhesive behind it to give it a little lift.

Studio 490 -- Vintage quilt stencil, embossed with white embossing powder
Penny Black -- Sprinkles and smiles sentiment stamp set
Metal flower -- $ store
Ribbon
Stickles -- Gunmetal

Evelyn Update:  She did go home on Aug. 11th.  She just had a doctors appointment yesterday and they have put her up to 55 ml every two hours 6 times a day but still has to be on the feeding tubes at night.  She can be completely unhooked from all her machines for 6 hours a day. Sharing a picture of her hooked up so you can get an idea of what they have to take care of.

This is just a couple of days ago after she came home.

I also wanted to share this one because I love it, this is the first day they thought she was going to be able to come home.  You see after most of their post they would put there is light at the end of this tunnel and on this post they put her future is so bright she has to wear shades.

She is such a little cutie, I can't wait for the time she will join us back at church again.  God has truly blessed this little girl and her family, I am so thankful for all your prayers and well wishes for this precious little girl.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and commenting it means a lot I know how busy everyone is.  Have a wonderful weekend,

Connie

Oh, Connie, this is a gorgeous card, and I love blue and white!! What a great stencil, and I love the set sunflower charm...it's perfect. And what a blessing to read about dear baby Evelyn! What a sweetie she is, and praise God that she is now home and eating more and more. What a precious photo of her with the sunglasses. Yes, I'm sure your entire church family has been praying for this dear family and will be so glad to see her there. Hugs, sweet friend, and thanks for the update. Continuing to pray for you all!

What a fabulous idea to use the versamark with the folder and then to emboss with powder! LOVE that.

And how wonderful to see that Evelyn is home and has a bright future.

Blue is my favorite color so this card is a winner! The stencil is so pretty and I adore the little sunflower embellishment.
But little Evelyn is just the sweetest darling! Love that last photo of her in shades!
God bless her and her family as it has been a very long hard road for them.
