For the birds

One of the ladies at church turned 86 last Sunday.  Her husband took a fall a few months back and hasn't recovered so he has to go into a nursing home, so they will be moving closer to her children, it was such a sad thing to see her for the last time on Sunday, there was a lot of tears shed. She was a great inspiration to all of us ladies in bible study, she will be missed.

Such a beautiful card, Connie.
That is sad to hear about your dear friend and her husband. Those who are dear to us and inspire us through this life are certainly missed when they are removed from our presence.
Nothing stays the same, does it?

Have a beautiful and blessed day ~ Debbie

Oh, Connie, what a sweet card with the little hummers around the bird feeder. And I love the dies with your sponging...a lovely touch. How precious this dear friend has been to you all ini your Bible study. She's left a mark on your lives very clearly and will be missed. And it is hard to age and for her to have your DH go to a nursing home. Praise God they are moving closer to family. You are so dear. Hugs!

I'm so sorry about your friend's troubles. It's sad when it comes to this as it so often does. I hope everything works out okay for her. I'm struck by how pretty your card is and I know she loved it, too. What a pretty image and such lovely framing. The pink sponging really is a nice touch.
