Lavender

This is a get well I sent to my Sister in law who had knee surgery a few weeks ago and she is doing very well.  I am sharing my card with Stephanie's Roses of Inspiration link up.

Memory Box -- Long stem Lavender die
Prima -- paper
Spellbinders -- Decorative Labels 28 and curved rectangles dies
Cuttlebug -- Kitchen weave embossing folder
Inkadinkado -- Greetings/salutations sentiment stamp
Stickles -- Dusty Concord on frame die

We had such beautiful weather here today, able to have the doors and windows open all day, Love it!
I have had a shadow all day, my dog Peanut has followed me around wherever I go, this is the longest we have had to keep her in the kennel, usually she is in a room with our cats but since they have both passed away she had to stay by herself.  Next year hopefully my daughter will be living close by and she can go stay with her.

Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Connie

A very pretty card for your sister! Feminine and so lovely with the die cuts and papers. I'll bet Peanut is so happy to have you home!

Beautiful card... I can almost smell the sweet scent of lavender.
How could any one not feel a good bit better after receiving that? :)
I hope she does.
So glad your dog is happy again!... Dear things, they live in the moment, and quickly find their happy place again. I would love to have a little shadow again, but that must wait a while.
Hope you continue to enjoy fresh Autumn breezes.

i purchased some homemade cards at a craft show this past weekend, $ 4.00 each. i asked the woman, "are you crazy"??? these are so beautiful, with so much detail, how can you sell them for 4 bucks. i don't think i could make them for that!!! such a lovely woman!!!

Ah.Connie thank you for popping over.
So glad to see your lavender card, you should see my huge lavender plant, in masses and masses of flower wiht loads of bees all around it..
A happy plant!! It's under my lemon tree and helps with insects too.
A good comb on your card, so there must be a lavender die out there. However won't get too many for use I am beginning to put brakes on :)
