Birthday Flowers

For my niece in law..... is that a word?  My Nephews wife, I don't know what the proper term is, maybe just niece, do any of you know?  I used a couple different flower stamps from the set to stamp and color, couldn't decide :)

Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady -- Flower and sentiment stamps from Cardmaking and papercraft magazine, colored w/ markers
Spellbinders -- Noble rectangles (top portion has been cut off) and A2 Scalloped borders two dies
My Mind's eye -- sweetest thing papers
Corner stickers
Wink of Stella -- clear glitter pen on flowers

Wishing you a most enjoyable weekend, enjoying the fall weather.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say Hi, so good to hear from you,

Connie

Good morning, Connie, and I truly got a giggle out of your question and just had to look it up. Being a lover of English and grammar, I found that you are correct. However, some people often refer to her as your nephew's wife. But I rather like the niece-in-law. And what a beautiful card with this lovely flower and floral DP that I know she will love, along with the sweet note you will write inside. So glad you are enjoying the fall weather, and have a blessed weekend! Hugs!

Ha! That's a good question. Niece-in-law sounded right to me until you questioned it. Then I thought, well, could you say granddaughter-in-law? Maybe not. But I see Cheryl looked it up, so thanks, Cheryl! Very pretty card for your niece-in-law. Diary of an Edwardian Lady sounds intriguing. I'll have to look it up.
