Hummingbird

I want to thank you all for your great encouragement on my first design team post for Dies R Us . I am a bit nervous wanting to do a good job. I was able to go see him yesterday and I gave them the announcement and asked if I could update my page with the actual picture I meant to go with it and Momma said sure so I have updated the post with the actual picture of Owen if you want to scroll down and check it out, he is a little cutie :)

Today I am sharing a card I made for Stephanie, who celebrated her birthday this past weekend.  I am so bummed that we have not seen our hummingbirds yet this year.  I thought I read that they should arrive back in this area Mid March, but so far I have not seen one, maybe because we are still having quite cool mornings I don't know.

I used my Spectrum Aqua markers again for the coloring, added a little clear glitter to it all when I was done to give a little shimmer.

Inkadinkado -- Hummingbird with flowers, colored w/ Aqua markers
Spellbinders -- Big Scalloped Circles lg., Majestic Labels 25 dies
Distress ink-- Hickory smoke
Our daily bread design -- Mini tag sentiments stamp, inked center of tag with spun sugar distress ink
Colorbok -- Homespun paper
Wink of Stella -- clear glitter marker

Hope you are all having a great week so far,
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and letting me know you did,

Connie

Hello, my friend! Your card look quite familiar {{smiles}} Maybe it's because I have it sitting out in my dining room right now :) Sweet Connie, this card is even more beautiful in person and I absolutely LOVE it!

You always create amazing cards and they always bless many. Love and hugs to you!

Oh My Goodness, Connie! I was going to use that very stamp in my next post, and at the last minute used a brand new one instead. I love what you have done with it, and will use mine in the future for sure! (yes, mine is still a virgin LOL). Such a gorgeous background die. I especially like how you die cut the middle out and then put it back in for added dimension - very pretty! hugs, de

Oooh, isn't this pretty! I love how you colored the flowers and hummer in a monotone. Very nice effect and such a beautiful image. Pretty use of the dies, too. Love the paper. We have Anna hummingbirds that stay all winter, but they seem to be gone for the time being. I need to put my feeders out again.

I wonder her joy when she'll receive your envelope, I know you and know her, as well, and, if I felt so touched by the card you sent me on my birthday, well, I'm sure that her eyes also will shine !!!

I hug you both, I love you, my kindred souls !

Sending much love to you, wonderful Connie, wishing you a beautiful rest of your day, today,

blessings
