RAK

RAK -- Random Acts of Kindness.... Quite a few years back one of the Ladies in the card making group I belonged to gave me these papers and flowers and I still had a few pieces left and that is how this card came about.  I had come to a wall and had no idea of what I wanted to do for my friend that loves pink.  So I just started going through my stuff hoping to get an idea, when I came across these papers and flowers, but then I didn't know what I wanted to do with them, so I started looking through my saved card sketches and I settled on MoJo 355, if you are ever stumped on what to do with your cardmaking they have a lot of neat ideas.

RAK -- papers, ribbon and flowers
BasicGrey -- Brad
Martha Stewart -- Border punch
Spellbinders -- Classic Circle and Blossom dies
David Tutera -- Celebrate sentiment

Hope you all are having a good start to your week... it seems that Monday's are the day we tackle the lawn and the dreaded weeds, I need to get some more mulch and rocks because this is getting back breaking for me, and I can tell I don't do enough physical work in the winter because using the weed trimmer every spring about kills my arms.  I do all that stuff while my hubby mows the lawn.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, love hearing from you,

Connie

Super use of the sketch, I like the accent of the brown, it really looks nice with pink.

I really dislike weeding too. We have a certain type of weed that creeps over the top of the mulch, so there is always work to do whether you add mulch or not.

Have a good day!

Hi Connie, what a lovely card in pink. Your friend will love it for her birthday. Sometime getting stumped pays off in the end when we don't know what to do with supply goodies.
Take care with the yard work. I know that kind of day too well.
Thanks for stopping by. So nice to see you. I know I have missed a lot here but so nice to be greeted by such beauty in your post today. I will pin this one too.
Have a great week. Blessings to you, xo

This is so pretty and feminine, Connie. I think your pink-loving friend will be smitten with this. The sketch is just perfect, too. The Mojo sketches are a great resource. I never think to look at them and sometimes think that would be a good reason to have a computer in my stamp room. Would love to have a book of sketches. Wouldn't that make a good book? Really love the border punch and the ribbon, too.

Connie,
In the end you came up with a beautiful pink card for your friend! I don't like it when I get stuck in a "I don't know what to make" phase. Thankfully it passes but sometimes you just have to find your inspiration in other places! This is lovely and I am sure your friend loved it!
