Calendar cards

How many of you have those daily calendars.  I have bought Mary Engelbreit daily calendars over the past 4 years, and I saved them all, there are just some really cute images on them that I thought they would be great for card making.  This one is going to a friend that has 4 dogs and they are here little babies, when I saw this image I just knew she would like it.

The butterfly is one that a fellow card maker sent to me. Using my MISTI tool I was able to line up the sentiment stamps and first stamp with red for the  outside sentiment and then in yellow for the inside sentiment, with the tag still in the die I did some yellow sponging around it.

Mary Engelbreit -- 2012 daily calendar for image
Crate paper -- Party day paper
Spellbinders -- Captivating squares, A2 matting basics A and Back to Basics tags dies
K&co. -- paper ribbon
Stamps of Life -- Postmarks 2 stamp sentiment stamp set
ribbon
Butterfly -- from friend

We had some rain last night and it gave us nice cool temps this morning, I do believe Fall is on it's way here now :)  I missed out on going to our Church's Fall festival last night but I heard it went very well and our prayers for the rain holding out until after it was over were answered.  My foot is doing better, I am managing without the pain pills, they were just making me feel to groggy and this girl has some cards she needs to get done, I need my head in a good place :)

Hope your week is off to a wonderful start, Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and leave your comments I do appreciate it!!

Oh, Connie, I LOVE this sweet little girl with her dog. It's darling, and I love the card you've made with it. Love the stripes and your color combination. And what a great die along with the pretty ribbon and how you've stamped the sentiment to match your colors. Sweetness, and I know your friend will love it. Praise God that your foot it doing better and that you are managing without the pain pills. That's always better. Groggy is a terrible feeling, and you do need to keep on making those cards! So glad your weather is starting to change. Tender hugs, sweet friend!

Hope your foot continues to heal well.

Oh, my gosh, that image is so precious! Such a darling card you made with it, and it sounds perfect for your friend. I can relate. My dogs are my precious little (big) ones. I'm glad your foot is doing better and you're able to leave off the pain pills. I wouldn't like my head being all fuzzy, either.

Hi Connie, what a lovely card created from a ME design. They do have so many wonderful pages on the calendars to repurpose to cards. Your creativity is always an inspiration.
Sorry to hear about your foot. I pray you feel better soon.
Blessings for a great week. xo

Hi Connie,
This card is very cheerful! Love it! The colors are pretty and I also like that you were able to reuse your Mary E calendar. You will be able to make lots of cards with all of those calendars. I try to hang on to things like that for reusing too! Happy to hear your foot is doing well...that is good news!Linda
