You're Dino mite

My card today is for my great nephew the grandson of my Sister, who's card I shared last time. I stamped the dinosaur onto a textured cardstock and the tree and leaves onto a patterned paper and then colored over, so I have done a bit of paper piecing for this card. I still have a few pieces of this cloud paper too.  After stamping I hand cut out all the pieces.  The only die I used was for the grass.

Nitwit collection-- Dinosaur stamp set from Australian Simply cards magazine
Poppystamps -- stitched landscape die
Distress inks -- mowed lawn

I only had time to share a couple of pictures, I really enjoyed this park because you could be right in it, these are pics of the next morning at Arches National Park.  When I get around to it I will share some of the double arches.

The sky is washed out in this picture but I still love how the rocks look.

Even if you can't get out and climb around the rocks as you can see in this picture the drive is very close to them and you get a great view every turn.

Thanks so much for stopping in today, Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

Connie

Oh, Connie, what a darling card, and I love the little dinosaur!! Just the sweetest, and he's going to love the card. What beautiful photos, and what a blessing to see in person some of what God has created. Just as taste of what shall be. Hugs, sweet friend!

You can't go wrong with dinosaurs ... all of our sons loved them, and now the grandchildren too!

That first photo of yours, I was drawn to the beautiful sky and then when I read on you said it was washed out! I thought it looked splendid against the amazing colour of the rocks.

All the best Jan

Aw, he's a cutie! Just right for a little boy!
The rocks are amazing shapes... would be really eerie in moonlight...it looks as though they have been weathered and eroded over thousands of years.
Very many blessings as always, Connie
