Florals and Swooshes

When I was going through some of my supplies the other day I came across these chipboard shapes and thought I haven't used those in a long time so I set them on my desk and this is what I made with them. I used my paints to color them and added a little ink also on the flower for shading.  The paper had so much neat collage detail that it didn't need much to embellish it, just added the sentiment and the chipboard flower and corner.  I also added some bead paint dots around too!

Tulip -- Fashion Bead paint (white)

The cold crisp mornings are here and we have had a couple days of hard frost.  We luckily went out and picked the last of the peppers the day before so now I just need to cut them up and freeze them so we can enjoy them over the winter :)

Hope your week is off to a great start, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and letting me know you did :)

You're so good at using up old things; If I cleaned out my craft room stash of old embellishments, they'd sit on my desk and take up room until I got fed up enough to move them back to the craft room.

There you go again, being so good about using your supplies. I keep trying, honestly! I love the sentiment you used on the pretty paper. I'm always on the look out for good sentiments, but now we've lost our local paper crafts store, sob.

Hi Connie,
this is a really pretty card! The paper you used is especially lovely....and the little saying is very sweet! I love how you can whip one of these up from supplies you have laying around! So creative!!! It was a cold one here today, I half expected snow but it was 45 degrees and raining. Felt much colder! Brrrr. Not excited about colder weather arriving!
