Thoughts and Prayers

I wanted to get a quick card out to a friend from church that is going through a very rough patch right now and I found this die cut background that a cardmaking friend sent to me.

I took regular distress inks and sponged them on, splashed a little water on it but it didn't really show up much, when dry I added some white marks with a pen. Stamped the sentiment onto a strip of cardstock.

Sizzix -- Brenda Walton die cut
Distress inks -- cracked pistachio, dusty concord and fossilized amber
White pen marker
Mama Elephant -- blessed sentiment stamp set

Wishing you a blessed Sunday and week ahead.

Join me tomorrow for my next Dies R us post.  If you would love to join the next design team there is still time to try out, HERE is the info on what you need to do, and good luck!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Connie

Love the rainbow effect. Such a pretty card in the time of need. Like you, I"m in the midst of making sympathy cards. It seems like I'm in need of them a lot lately.

That's a beautiful background die cut with a nice combo of colors. Don't you just love the names of those Distress inks? The green reminds me of SU's Gable Green, which I never grow tired of.
