Happy

Using more of my forgotten treasures, these chipboard letters are from a few years ago, soon I will be running out of any words I can make with them. Back before Pinterest it seems like I saw a post about what to do with those extra letters, but I have forgotten where on my computer I saved that link.

The letters already come foiled.  I took the little flowers that came from punching the border and used them to sprinkle around the card. The paper I used was double sided so I used the backside, except for the birthday banner.

Well we are on another roller coaster, yesterday we were in the 60's today in the 70's and then the 40's and 30's for the next 5 days with a possibility for snow Saturday night.  Oh how I wish it could just stay spring.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me know you have.

Connie

I have a ton of chipboard letters too from scrapbooking days gone wild! I would be interested in hearing how better to use them up too. Yes, what do you do with all the "leftovers" from a set that you used to make one page with, and the rest of the package... sitting dust-gathering, lol!

Your card is lovely, love the happy! :)

Yay, a good use of chipboard alphabet set. Glad you had enough to make a word. Your card is great. I love the foiled lettering and haven't seen them before. It's a "happy" card. Pun intended--LOL.

I run into the same problem with letter stickers for scrapbook pages... I always use the same letters over and over and run out and am left with a bunch of unusable letters. Your card is so shiny and pretty. Great use of the chipboard letters.

Love that you're pulling out "old" supplies and using them!
Here's some fun ideas for using leftover letters (stickers and chipboard):

Love that you used the flower punches from your border on your card. I have that same punch and frequently punch it just for the flowers! What a "HAPPY" card!

This is a beautiful card, I love it.

Sorry to hear about your weather.
We have enjoyed a most Spring like day, had a glorious walk earlier.
Of course it is still only March so it could be raining, or snowing, or doing almost anything in a few days time.
I think the important thing is, if it's nice, to try and get out in the fresh air.

Enjoy the rest of your week

All the best Jan

I adore those pretty letters and I love the design of this card! I'm thinking you could do an 'alphabet soup' with your leftover letters. lol

I love the shine on those letters. The colors are pretty and everything goes together perfectly. It will be interesting to see if you find something to do with the random leftover letters. TFS!

Wow, this looks fantastic, Connie! Those letters are so pretty! I know what you mean about running out of things you can say with them. I might have given up my chipboard letters that I had. I'll have to look, but I'm pretty sure. Anyway, you came up with a great idea! Enjoy your crazy weather!

What a great idea using those letters like that! I had some of these letters a long time ago in my scrapbooking days. What a great way to use them on cards!!
