Autumn arrangement

This is certainly my favorite time of year and there are a few challenges out there that I would like to link my creation with today.

Double D challenge- Feeling Fallish
DiesRUs anything fall
Cropstop October challenge

Tim Holtz -- Wood Grain embossing folder
Spellbinder -- Fall Foliage die set
My Favorite things - Essential sentiment stamp set

I used my brayer to add ink to the embossing folder before embossing to get the background color. Cut the leaves out of paper I had made from Colorburst that was in my stash.
I added some white ink to the embossed areas of the pinecone to bring that out. Shading with ink on all the rest.  Added a little jute bow and the sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!!

Connie

I love fall, as well, but it's a little too soggy here to get out and enjoy it right now, sigh... I also dearly love fall cards and it's wonderful to see this beautiful thing today! I love your arrangement on the wood grain-embossed background, and your brayered technique is expertly done. I don't have much luck with that. It really brings out the texture. Perfect layout. I'm glad you took the time to share this in the Feeling Fallish challenge at Double D!
