Floral Frames

I was walking through JoAnns and I saw this package of Acetate frames and I thought oh my those are pretty, then I saw some little round images that went along with them. Now normally before I buy something I think how I might use them or for what situation I would use them, but this was one of those buys that I bought just because I thought it was pretty :)

I wanted the frame to be lifted up, so I used some clear pop up dots and tried to put them behind the images on the frame, the little round images come with little sticky pop up dots on them already.

The paper in the background reminded me of a lattice and added the stamped sentiment with some pearl pen accents.

Here is a close up to show the glitter that is already on the images.

How do you shop for your craft supplies, do you think about how you might use it or do I have something similar already, or do you go by what ever you like and figure out how you would use it later.

K&co. - SW floral acetate frames and SW floral Icon
Teresa Collins -- He said she said paper
Spellbinders - Floral Ovals die
Gina Marie - Birthday words sentiment stamp set
Pearl Pen - Salmon

Hope you enjoy your weekend, we are suppose to have above normal temps so hopefully I will be able to spend most of it outdoors enjoying this Autumn season and hope you can too!

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy life to stop by, loving hearing from you if you do!

Connie

The acetate piece is gorgeous, and the little accent to go with it finishes it off perfectly! The paper truly does give the look of lattice when paired with the garden images. These days I don't do much impulse shopping, but that darn ribbon at JoAnn's got me recently. I did think about how I'd use it, but still I bought too much because it was so hard to narrow it down.

Such a pretty card Connie. Love the acetate frame with the pretty images. The dimensions look wonderful. So elegant and airy. I look at the price tag... I like to find bargains so if it's cheap enough and my style, I might buy it. I've been better and not buying a lot lately... having Michael's withdrawal. :)Enjoy your weekend!

What a really pretty and unique product! Love this card!

Hmmm. Lately I have been trying to only buy absolute necessities- such as tape and glue. However, I also am easily swayed when I see a product that will help me use my stamps in new ways. I do sometimes buy something that is just pretty.

Simply delicate, Connie! Love it! When I go to Michael's or Joann's (not often because not one near me), I head to look at the clearance first and then what's on sale. I usually visualize what I'll do with when I decide to buy it. xx

The paper totally looks like a lattice. I had to look twice because it really has a 3D look to it. It’s the perfect backdrop for these delicate flowers and that pretty butterfly!
