Hues to Use and stripes challenges

Still working on getting a few Christmas cards to made each month and so when I had the challenge in my stamp group to use stripes and on Power Poppy Blog to use certain colors I went with one of their digital stamps that I had downloaded last year but never tried.  I mentioned before that I have had trouble printing my digital stamps because the paper I normally color with markers was too thick to work in my printer, well I found that the thinner paper they sell at Office Depot worked and I think the blending isn't too bad so now I can try out more of the digital downloads, YAH!!!

If you would like to try out this digital stamp for yourself you can find it HERE, it's only $1 You can't beat that price, especially if you have never tried digital stamps before.  You can also find tips on their blog on how to use the digital stamps.

Poppystamps- Candy cane digital stamp, colored w/markers
Memory Box - Stitched Rectangle layers
Fancy Pants design - Saint Nick paper
Taylored Expressions - Poinsettia bouquet (sentiment stamp)
Sequins
Nuvo Crystal glaze on berries

Thanks for stopping by today, Hope your week is off to a great start!

What a lovely Christmas card! The colors and the stripes work so well! Good tip on trying thinner paper for the digis. I sometimes have trouble printing them too.

What a fun and festive Christmas card! Love the stripes and such pretty coloring! Glad you found some paper to use for digital stamps - my favorite thing about using them is that you can make them as big or little as you need!

Oh no....did you mention the word "Christmas"!! =) You are very organised to get started this early, Connie, though I suppose doing a few each month, when the season of great joy arrives you will be ready. This is a lovely card.

Connie, I wish I was ahead of the game like you. I haven't even thought about Christmas. I've not tried digital stamps yet. Love how yours turned out. I am excited to tell you that I've started a crafty blog on Blogger. I have it linked to my profile pic etc. You have inspired me to craft more! :-)
