Spring

Visiting around blogland I see that all of us are so ready for spring to arrive, it has been a bit lower than normal temps and quite rainy for a lot of us, I am a little encouraged about next weeks temps although we still have rain in the forecast.

Maybe this card will brighten things up a bit :)

The images are stickers and the little rabbit on the punched border is an epoxy sticker,

Debbie Mumm - Spring II stickers
Hallmark - Stickeroni sticker (epoxy bunny)
Pawsitively Pawesome Designs - Mini stitched Square die
Martha Stewart - border punch, colored w/markers
Sew Pretty paper (cardmaking and papercraft magazine)

I thought I would share a new park we found in the town next to ours that we had never heard of in the 13 years we have lived here.  While out test driving our van we came across the sign but didn't check it out then we waited until the week after we bought the van and took a drive over to see what it looked like, they had a neat old building and pretty rolling hills, trails in the woods but we didn't check them out since it was muddy and there was a steep hill to both of the trails we went to check out so we thought we had better try them when things dry out.

I loved the way the evening sun was coming through the trees.

It was just a tad windy that day we went but as you can see we had a day with clear skies :)

We had thought we had been to every park in the area so it was so nice to have come across this one. Looks like we need to do more driving around and see what else we are missing out there. Do you like to explore different and new places?

Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Connie

What a cute spring time card Connie! Helped brighten my gray day! Sounds like a fun little park you found there ... great photos! I can't believe how cold it is here today (27 this morning) and the snow was blowing sideways yesterday ... SO windy! Good Grief Charlie Brown!! LOL
Hope you have a great day!

For sure this lovely card card will brighten things up! Great area and park - exploring is always a nice adventure!
I live here the 8th year now in my area but hadn't visit much yet I must admit, too much work at the house and taxi driving my daughter. But I will do - last year I finally got a bicycle and cisited at least much more ogf the mearby paths --this was lovely as well and I am hoping for good weather soon to start my bicycle adventures soon again. With my dogs I always take mostly just the same paths near our house.

Oh that image is so cute! Very springy!

That is a very picturesque park! We do try to find new parks, there are a lot of little ones! It was one of the things I really liked about travel soccer.

Ack, I love Debbie Mumm! Your card is so adorable and sweet and happy. I'm smiling! I have some really super old Debbie Mumm baby papers I've never been able to bear cutting into. Some of them would make the whole card front. One of these days I'll have to make that a project. And, wow -- that park! With all the traveling you do it's amazing to think this wonderful place was right there so close to home, just waiting to be explored. You'll have to go back in the summer to see what it looks like then. I love exploring! I can't imagine anything nearby we haven't found yet. We'd have to drive a fair stretch, but there are a few places I'd like to visit again. Thanks for sharing these pictures, Connie!
