Thanks

I needed a few thank you's, so I went with a few embossing folders and a sparkle coloring card.

My first card I used an embossing a friend sent to me, so all I did was cut it down to my card base size, sand the image, stamp the sentiment and layer some already made flowers.

Thank goodness for the Misti, since this was embossed on textured cardstock, I had to stamp the sentiment a few times to get a good impression.

Inkadinkado- All Occasions sentiment

The next one is using another embossing folder I received.  This time I used Distress inks and Sparkle markers to color it.

Darcie - Small floral sprigs embossing folder, Colored w/ Distress inks  and Spectrum Sparkle markers
Hot Off the press - Tiny words & phrases Dazzles sentiment , colored w/Spectrum Noir Marker

Tip:  I happened to get a bit of the sparkle marker off the edge of my embossing and I quickly reached for my Tombow Mono Sand Eraser and that worked like a charm to take it right off, love that new little tool.

Lastly I have shared these before but I thought I would again. The cards come with the image already on the card and it is all sparkle so when you color with your Alcohol markers it gives such a pretty shimmer.

Spectrum Noir Colorista - Wild Daisies card, colored w/Spectrum noir markers

We are only 34 degrees this morning and the high should be around 38, when our normal is 62 this time of year, but I will take it because the Sun is shinning bright, no rain now for 3 days in a row :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful and fun weekend!

Connie

You make the loveliest of cards! I love how you used an embossed card and colored it, that is a tip I had forgotten about, as I have a lot of embossing folders. The end result is so pretty! We are having a cold wet spring here as well, with rain here today and tomorrow, but most of our snow is gone, and I have tulips poking their heads up through the ground, so spring is on its way, albeit rather slowly, lol!

These are all so pretty! I love the idea of the card with sparkle on it already. I will have to look out for that. Stay warm! It got chilly here overnight too.

They are all so unique. Love the simplicity of the first card, but the third card really speaks to me.

These are such sweet cards, Connie! I love that you have used three completely different techniques and styles. Your butterfly embossed card is darling, with the sanded area -and what a great EF - how nice of your friend to send you the embossed image! Your colored embossed folder looks really great with the softness of the distress inks. The explosion of flowers in your last card reminds me of your smile! Always so beautiful and vibrant! hugs, de

I LOVE the embossing folders! These are so pretty, and embossing folders are my favorite thing, right next to paper and dies. And, of course, stamps. I wouldn't be anywhere without stamps. I'm madly in love with your sparkle card, too. The paper/image comes already sparkled? What a fantastic idea and so fun! It's beautiful!

I'm quite behind the times, and don't know what a 'Misti' is (or a mono sand eraser! : )
but I'm on my way to find out!
I really love that sanded effect on the emboss~ And your color-work on the other cards is so lovely! I know they will be treasured~ hugs, karen o
