Flower Burst

I picked out the paper first for this card, sometimes I start with my paper and sometimes I just color and then figure out which paper will go best. I colored the die cut with Spectrum noir markers.

As you can see in the close up I had another blop of my stickles on the yellow flower, I also took the little flowers that fell out of my border punch and added them to the flowers.

Spellbinders- A2 matting basics B and Flower Burst dies, colored w/markers
Sassafras - Mix and Mend paper
Fiskars- Border punch
Gina Marie- Birthday words
Stickles - Vintage Photo and Baby blue

Hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend, stay cool and thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and visit,

Connie

Oooh, this is pretty! Love the paper, die, scalloped border, everything! The flowers that popped out make just the right extra fill in for your flower garden. It's fun to start with the paper and I need to do that. Been thinking about all the pretty papers I have that have never been touched yet. You never know where it's going to take you. This piece sure took you to a beautiful place!

Wow, I never pick paper first. I wouldn't know where to start. You clearly can see the end results from the beginning. Your flowers are just so cute and I do love your designer paper which reminds me of wallpaper. Terrific work Connie. Enjoy your weekend.
