When I was at the book store last month and they had this cute stamp set in the Make Special cards magazine I just had to pick it up, I just thought it was too cute.
I liked the cut patterns on the bird and love that big eye, she is sending lot's of Love :)
The set also comes with precolored images you can use for a quick card, I love having those sort of things on hand for quick card making, but I do like to use the stamps when I have the time. I am trying not to get so stressed out about getting cards to people on time, so when I have things on hand that make card making quicker but I can still let them know I care and was thinking about them, makes it all more enjoyable :)

Oh he is so darlin', great coloring too! Love your DP, pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteSo cute with the flowers in the wings and dotted breast! A darling little bird. Loving your interesting background papers with the scrabble brown and floral green! I wouldn't have thought to use those papers, and I love it! I am always wowed by the use of unexpected elements, especially the ones with interest and provide lots of imagination and texture - like these. I hope I can acquire your skill of choosing papers, Connie. Wishing you a great week-end! Hugs, de

Connie, that bird is adorable. I thought it was a fish at first until I looked more closely.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute bird holding the heart balloon. A perfect stamp for many occasions.
ReplyDeleteDarling card Connie. Love the sweet bird image and the background papers... especially the one with the letter tiles. SWEET!
ReplyDeleteI would totally fall in love with this stamp set, too! I like your idea of not getting stressed about making and sending cards. Designer paper and simple images are great for that, plus pre-colored images or ephemera or fancy dies. It's hard to stamp enough to keep up, so CAS is great, too. I really want to get better at that. This is super sweet, Connie!
