Cat Sympathy

My friend that I have had all my life, we grew up next door to one another, her cat just passed away, she is very close to her two cats and having this one past I know was very hard.  I tried to color this cat to look like hers.


I used a tissue box for the top portion of the background and then embossed some green cardstock for the bottom piece. I colored the stamp with pencils, her cat had soft coloring and I thought pencils would help me achieve that better.

    This is soooo sweet! What an adorable kitten. I love the reuse of the tissue box and it goes really well with the green cardstock.

    Awww, Connie, this will touch her heart. It looks to me like the pencils were a good choice for the soft color. Hard to do that with Copics, for sure. The tissue box is a pretty background and the color goes nicely with the kitty. I'm sorry for your friend. I know how the loss of a pet can hurt.

    How cute on such a sad occasion. This will certainly warm her heart. I buy Kleenex boxes according to what pattern attracts me. It never occurred to me that one could use it on a card. So unique Connie
