I used my layering dragonfly stamp on today's card, now that it is warming up we have all kinds of insects coming out, and the trees are starting to bud with flowers and leaves. I cut the background which looks pretty dark in the picture from green pattern paper, and stenciled the background with a river rock stencil.
- Hero Arts - Color layering dragonfly stamp, fussy cut
- Spectrum noir - Clear sparkle pen on wings
- Poppystamps - Thicket Frame
- Honeybee - River Rock Stencil using Iced Spruce distress ink
- Craft consortium - Ink drops organic paper
- Starform - Happy Birthday sticker
I don't know if you can see the sparkle on the wings of the dragonfly in this picture or not.
I would like to share my card with the following blogs

The stencil background of river rocks looks impressive. Such a pretty card. How nice spring is beginning to appear there.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Connie! I love the river rock stencil you used and the deep colored frame. The coloring on your dragon fly is lovely. So glad you're seeing signs of spring. Some of my early spring bulbs have finally burst through the ground and the robins have returned. I do love the hope that comes with spring. Happy spring my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is s lovely card! I love the stencil and die with your dragonfly. Everything is in full bloom here. I am enjoying all the pretty blooms.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing, Connie! I love dragonflies, the stenciled rock is very cool, and I have the Thicket Frame -- it's a favorite. Your card really caught my eye at Double D. When I go out in the backyard in the morning the birds are putting on quite a symphony. I love spring. We've had some beautiful days but supposed to be raining again soon. Connie, thank you for playing along with us at Double D!
