I am a little late posting my March Christmas cards but I did manage to get 5 done. Our Challenge was to use stars.
Starting with these two snowman stickers that had stars with them.
- Me & My Big Ideas - Snowman stickers
- Spellbinders - Curved Rectangles die
- Simon Says - Tiny words Christmas sentiment stamp
- Pink & Main - Sentiment strip die
These next two cards uses a die I got free when ordering something from Scrapbook.com they say they are snowflakes but to me they look more like stars :) I stitched them with some gold thread.
- Spellbinders - Stitched Prism snowflake die, with DMC gold metallic thread
- Studio G - Sentiment stamp
- Spellbinders - Stitched Prism snowflake die, with DMC gold metallic thread
- Elizabeth Craft Designs - Merry Christmas sticker
- Sequins
This last one I used score tap around the edges of the card and embossed with silver embossing powder, I also used the same powder on the stamps.
- Creative Stamping magazine - Stamps with silver embossing powder
- Scortape around the edges with silver embossing powder
The side view showed the embossing a little better on the stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and hope you have a great week!

Very nice!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. 😂
They are all so sweet in their own way - but the snowmen ones have my heart! They remind me of artwork that was so cute in the 80's & 90's. Blessings. xoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat job getting your five cards done, Connie! I love the snowmen so much! They're very folk artsy. Cute how the stars are coming out of the hat on the first snowman. Or maybe they're going in... I would have never thought to use the Scor-Tape for embossing, but what a great idea! I'm always learning something new from you
ReplyDeleteThanks for using the star prompt Connie! I love the papers you chose to go with the stickers and stitched stars (they definitely count as stars). Those stickers are really cute, great way to use them. The star die was a great freebie! Pretty stitching. Nice, neat job with the silver embossing. It makes an elegant card.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are great! I love all the different ways you used the star theme.

The snowmen stickers bring a delightful vintage feel, while the stitched stars with gold thread add elegance and shine.
