Our Groups challenge for this month is Plaids. I had bought a plaid folder awhile back and have tried it out but never used it on a card yet, so I thought this was the perfect time to get it out and give it a try. The first two cards use the stencil for the background, using distress inks.
- Spellbinders, Wendy Vecchi - Build A Plaid Stencil, using Gathered Twigs, Rustic Wilderness, Lumber Jack Plaid distress inks and gold pen
- Spellbinders - Floral Die cut shapes
- Starform - Merry Christmas stickers
This next one I didn't use the brown ink like I did on the first plaid.
- Echo park - Christmas magic Ephemera
- Paper Studio - Cozy Christmas paper
- Candy Button
- Paper Pizzazz - Christmas plaid paper
- 49 and Market - Christmas Spectacular & ephemera bits
Thanks for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Earlier today I had the feeling I should listen to Christmas music. Now you have made me think of it again!
ReplyDeleteThat plaid stencil was the perfect creative spark—what a cozy, festive showcase! The way you layered the distress inks adds such warmth and charm, especially with the gold detailing. Each card feels like a handcrafted keepsake, and the ephemera accents are just delightful. The cardinal design is especially heartwarming—like a sweet winter whisper tucked into a holiday wreath. You’ve captured the spirit of Christmas with such elegance and joy.
ReplyDeleteChristmas Plaids are so beautiful and these beautiful Designer Papers make for some gorgeous backgrounds! Love each festive creation, so pretty! All so unique! Merry Merry!
ReplyDeleteYou got so many done. We'll done. The plaid stencil is cute. They are all so adorable but I really like the mixture of papers on the mitten card.
