I don't know if that is the name for this card that is just what I named it for the blog post, we did this card together in our Teams meeting with my stamp group. I was a little late getting my supplies around and couldn't think of what stamp or dies to use so I just got out one of my Ephemera packs from Hobby Lobby and used that for all my images.
Now I got this wrong the first time around so had to do mine again real quick, so hopefully I have this straight and you can understand my instructions :) You take two 4 x 5.25 inch pieces of white cardstock, you cut a rectangle frame from the center of one of them and lay that aside. Put your frame you made and add it to the top of the other piece of cardstock, then add your ink (we used Oxide inks) to the frame and inside the opening. Then add the pieces to your embossing folder, run both pieces together through your machine (we added a little washi tape to keep them together) and then separate them after embossing and you now have a frame that is embossed (which I used later) and a piece that is white framing your colored area.
We added a Belly band, I didn't have a big enough piece of the colored cardstock that I used for the card back and front left to make mine so I used white cardstock and added some washi tape to it.
- Cuttlebug - Victoria embossing folder, w/Oxide inks, Cracked Pistachio, Vintage Photo and Jaded Jeans
- My Favorite things - Cross - stitch rectangle die
- Belly Band - White cardstock with Ieebee washi tape on top
- Paper Studio - Ephemera pack

- Spectrum Noir - Clear sparkle pen on wings
- Cuttlebug - Victoria embossing folder
- My Favorite things - Cross - stitch Rectangle die

So beautiful, Connie!
I was reading carefully to see if I could understand the instructions and, yes, it makes sense. It's always easier if you make as you read, anyway. A beautiful card! Love the bird on the belly band. Card #2 is absolutely lovely as well, with the dragonfly and leaves. It's perfect for the pretty ink blended and embossed background.
Two beautiful cards Connie and I love fold on the first with the belly band and the dragonfly is so lovely, love him..

The white and the color embossing look lovely together and the dragonfly is beautiful. Great job with the popup. That looks fantastic.

Your card from the night turned out wonderful. It's a neat design and your yechnique turned out so well.
Im very fond of the Dragonfly. So many people associate me with them. In fact, I wore one of my Dragonfly necklaces yesterday. Your added sparkle is creative.
This pop-out design is such a clever way to add surprise and movement—your step-by-step breakdown made it feel totally doable, even with a few hiccups along the way. The belly band with washi tape is a brilliant workaround, and that bird ephemera adds such a sweet focal point. I especially love how you repurposed the leftover frame for a second card; the dragonfly with its shimmer and stamped leaves feels like a breath of summer air. Both cards have such a thoughtful mix of texture and color, and the embossing ties everything together beautifully.
Oh my stars, these are all beautiful! I understood your directions perfectly. Such wonderful inspiration in all your cards.
Wow! Top marks for this beautiful card.

This sounds like a beautifully detailed project! I love how you carefully scored the cardstock and added the squares and embossed panels—it must give the card such a professional and textured look.
