With sympathy

Sharing another sympathy card I needed, I am sorry I can't remember where I got the idea for this card but how I did it was I cut out the shape, took the negative and using my inks I sponged in the opening to give the flowers a base.

    This is lovely! I actually just made some cards sponging off a shape and then stamping florals. They do look lovely! Your card is sure to bring comfort.

    So pretty. I love this look and the colors. Very soothing. Using the negative gave your sponged area nice definition, and the butterfly is a sweet touch. I really love the silhouette branch.

    I'm sorry you need another sympathy card, Connie, but this is so beautiful. I love the technique of using the negative space, and your sponging is perfect.
