Sparkle embossing

There are quite a few challenges out there right now for embossing, and one of them asked for sparkle. I hadn't played with my Twinkling H2o's for ever, they have a lot of sparkle in them and they needed to come out and play again :)  I found this Video on you tube for those of you that have not heard of them.

  • Darice - Flourishes 3 pack embossing border folders
  • Twinkling H2o's for sparkle and watercolor
  • Poppy Stamps - Stitched Bloom Trio die
  • Tim Holtz - Metallic sticker book sentiment and frame
  • Gem

It is funny the older you get the more your eyes deceive you, while painting the embossed areas I thought wow I am doing a great job with this, then when I download the pictures and see them close up on my computer I see it wasn't as good as I thought, but you can see the embossing so I guess that is the most important :)

I will be sharing with the following challenges:

Double D Challenge color of summer  - In this challenge I used the colors in the drinks at the bottom right

That was a lot of challenges so why not join along with all the above challenges, some will be ending soon so get creating :)

Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend,
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

  15. Really pretty design, love the coloured embossing! I think photos of our cards often show imperfections the eye just doesn't see (and the recipients certainly don't see!). Interesting that's a border design by Darice - I have an ancient set of small Cuttlebug folders (approx 2" square) with the same (single) floral motif as one of them!
