Sending Sunshine

I have had this die set for awhile now but I was saving the first time using it for my sisters birthday card, she looks at my blog and I wanted her to see it for the first time in person :)  I picked it up because I loved the look of old wagon wheels, don't know what it is about them but I like them.  Had to add a pot of flowers, and a little birdie is always around, he is from wood. Added a bit of clouds and grass on the background.

  • Spellbinders - Rustic Garden die set and Romantic Rectangles two die
  • Recollections - Wood bird, colored w/markers
  • Impression Obsession - Small grass die
  • Rubbernecker - Wide Terracotta pot die
  • EK Success - Flower punch
  • Stickles - Worn Lipstick (Flower centers)
  • Hero Arts - Everyday Sayings, sentiment stamp
  • Altenew - Nature's wonder enamel dots

I would like to share my card today with A cut above Challenge

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, and hope all those in the states under this extreme heat watch stay safe.

  4. There's something truly fascinating about old wagon wheels, but I don't know why. But I do know that I really like your unusual card and I'm a little envious of your sister... *laughs*

  6. Oh, gosh, this is pretty! I have something very similar I was saving for fall, but you've clearly shown it's lovely in any season. I love the frame you used, too, and the fence... every part of it is so appealing!

  9. This is darling! What a sweet country garden scene. We have a wagon wheel in our garden that we brought home from Amish country in Ohio years ago. I love it as a backdrop in the garden. This scene is just as sweet as can be!
