Thank you

I have only managed to make one card since being back home, yesterday was actually nice with no rain so I got out into our back yard, that was quite neglected and did some weeding, and weed whipping along our chain link fence, oh my with all this rain the grass was really tall along the fence.  We are in for 3 more days of rain, we have a flash flood watch until Sunday evening.

I am sharing my card today with the Sisterhood of crafters "B" challenge HERE.

I used my Oxide inks for the background, then stamped the script background in tan and brown inks.
White embossed the butterfly onto polka dot paper and added the gems.

Oxide inks -- peeled paint, walnut stain and worn lipstick (background)
Inkadinkado -- Script background and Garden delight stamps (butterfly)
Reminisce- Wedded bliss sticker sentiment
Gems

Wishing you all a lovely weekend, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Great background. I like how your butterfly is on polka dotted paper and curled in. Very pretty work.

Very pretty! The butterfly is so sweet over top of the script stamp. The background looks like it has some yellow tones in it, which is neat since you don't list that in the supplies. It is very nice.

Connie, this card is stunning! I love the background you created. I think I'm going to cave in to peer pressure and order me some of the oxide inks. I just got back from vacation and am playing catch up on your blog. I missed a lot of beautiful cards from you. I'm also sorry to hear about your F-I-L. I'll be praying for you and your family. Sending (hugs)

Beautiful used of the oxides in your background, Connie, and gorgeous colors! I just received mine, and am looking forward to using them. Love the dots peeking from behind the butterfly, and your printed background, too. sorry to hear about your rain! WE NEED RAIN! Send rain immediately LOL

Glad you had a day in the yard. That is my true passion, and it hurts my heart to not be able to enjoy it any long. I even enjoy weeding and pruning!

Wishing you a great week-end. hugs, de
