Quilted Table Runner

I am a little behind haven't taken pictures of my recent card and wanted to post something today and going through my pictures I found a table runner I made back in December of last year that I never shared.

If you have been with me for awhile you might remember these place mats I made back in 2015.

Well this past December I finally made the table runner to match them.

I was late getting it finished at the last minute per my usual, so I asked my hubby to take a picture real quick while I got around how I was going to wrap it.

The quilt was machine pieced and quilted, I do enjoy hand quilting but just haven't had the time as of late.

We are seeing the sun today!!!! I am going to try and get out and do some more yard work, hopefully the ground is not to saturated. There are numerous road closures and schools closed do to the flooding, thankfully we are doing ok in our area.  Praying for all those that are working tirelessly trying to sand bag and do all they can to save homes and towns.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, so good to hear from you!

Ooh, Connie, I didn't know you quilted. Your table runner is beautiful, and you've finished it beautifully. The meandering machine quilting stitch can be a challenge, but you've done it well! It is so heartbreaking to see so many lives lost in the recent storms, along with the many homes and businesses. Hugs!

I'm so glad you're safe from the floods. I saw on the news how bad it is all over.

I love your quilted runner and place mats. Believe it or not I"ve been toying with the idea of quilting again, but then am reminded that DT work takes up so much time. Good for you for getting both hobbies in. The colours and pattern are very nice.

It always feels wonderful to accomplish a project, or anything for that matter. Ha!
I love the colors you have chosen, primitive. :-)
Quite the deviation from these storms, happy to hear that you are safe.
Enjoy your yard work~~

Oh WOW! That is beautiful as are your placemats! I can not sew at all, well on cards.....but nothing in the material department, I can't knit or crochet....it's all to do with fabric lol Really beautiful work, Connie!

Awesome work! At my house... I'd call that table runner a "Cat Mat" lol Such naughty kitties at my house! Do you own your own quilting machine? or did you use your regular sewing machine and take off the foot?

Oh, that table runner is so pretty! What a great work of art! I don't sew (here there some felt projects) so I can't even imagine how many hours you put into this. It's lovely! Glad you are safe and not in the flood area. My heart goes out to the ones that lost their homes and business... it's so sad...
