Spectrum Noir came out with some new colors of markers and Consumer Crafts was having a sale on them so I splurged and bought them. Some of the new colors went very well with this cardstock so I used them on this stamp.
I had noticed on a few blogs and some girls in my group were making cards by just using what they found in their scraps bin of items they never ended up using on other cards, so I challenged myself to do just that. I made two cards but forgot to take a picture of the other one before my hubby gave it to a co-worker that gave him a lilac bush in remembrance of his Dad.
The background piece already had the sentiment stamped on it and the flowers were already stamped on this die cut, all I had to do was color the image.

Do you have left over items that you need to use up too?
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!!

Oh yes! So nice to use up those bits & bobs! You did an AWESOME job and this card is beautiful! Great coloring! And I love the overall design! Well done my friend!
Oh, Heidi, I love this card and love that you made it with leftovers! Ha, it's funny you mentioned this. I was cleaning out my "someday" box and found so many things that I need to finish. In my quilting days, we used to call them "UFO's" for unfinished objects. You've done a beautiful job with this card, and I love the sweet little floral image...and the colors are beautifully done! Hugs! xoxo
Stunning, my friend! It is indeed nice to use up those little extras and you did a wonderful job.
Hugs to you!
This is a very pretty card.
I love the colour, I love the bouquet and I think the words are nice too.
It's a winner!
All the best Jan
Well this has to be the most beautiful card to come out of any 'leftover' bin! Pretty, pretty florals!
Your new colours are beautiful and so is your colouring. Lovely card especially since you used bits and pieces in your stash.

Gosh, Connie, what a pretty, pretty stamp and card! The colors do match perfectly and the parts came together like they were made for each other. I'm totally in love with that bouquet. Yes, I try to use my spare parts, but I keep making more spare parts, sheesh.
A gorgeous elegant frame surrounding your pretty floral stamp. A really, lovely card :-)
