Peace

For our Aunt's and Uncles, there are not to many left.  In our cardmaking group we send out packages to someone that we randomly pick that had participated in our challenges and this Peace stamp was sent to me after this last set of challenges.  As you can see it is even a little bigger than the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card, she didn't send any packaging with it so I am not sure who the maker of the stamp is.  I embossed it with clear embossing powder and then went to town inking the background with three different color blues.  Added a few sequins and was done.  Hubby said he wishes I would have put snowflakes on instead of the sequins, maybe next year ;)

A girl in our group did this same type of technique but stamped a big snowflake it was so pretty I had to try it for myself.

Our daughter and son in law are coming home tonight, they have a long drive from North Carolina to Illinois today, just thankful they won't be driving through any snow.  I have a busy day of cleaning ahead of me and cat proofing the house :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!!  Love to hear from you,

Connie

Pretty cards! As always Connie! Where in NC are your kids coming from? I live east of Raleigh. We drove to IL one time, it was a long drive! About 16 hours I think. Hope you enjoy your visit and have a wonderful Christmas! Hugs, Sherry

Beautiful and simple. That's a big stamp! Love how you shaded the background. I have a jar full of white sequins that I never remember to use. I like how they look and they're an easy to mail embellishment.

Oh so pretty, Connie, and it is a big stamp, but you've made it work beautifully. I love your sponging and the perfectly placed sequins. Been MIA lately but hope to get back to regular visits soon. Hugs, precious friend!
