Butterfly kisses

The flower, butterfly and sentiment are all from the same set. I found new to me markers at my Local stamp store here in town and they were such a great price I thought I would try them out for coloring the flower, 3 markers come in a set for $5.99, I love how these oranges blended together.

I cut the butterfly out and lifted him up on the topside but the part kissing the flower is down on the cardstock.  I added a bit of clear wink of stella to the butterfly, don't know if you can see it in this next picture.

Mama Elephant -- Butterfly kisses, colored w/markers
Spellbinders -- Resplendent Rectangles die
Teresa Collins -- He said she said paper
Sequins -- Iced silver

So pretty, Connie! Those oranges are nice. I feel like there aren't enough oranges in the spectrum noirs.

I like your pretty die and the plaid paper too, great challenge combo!

Oh, Connie! Beautiful stamp, beautiful coloring, beautiful card! Oh, and beautiful plaid! I'm glad you shared this in our Double D challenge today. I do see some of that Stella sparkle, too. And I really love the orange and green. New markers? You did a great job with them!

This flower reminds me of a Fall flower we have here in Maryland; it's tiny orange and yellow flowers are so cheery this time of year. Your butterfly seems so peaceful and adds a lovely touch to your card.

Oh, Connie, what a gorgeous card! I absolutely love this stamp and your beautiful coloring! And I love how you've added dimension by popping the butterfly and adding an extra layer for the flower! Wow! And what a beautiful die over this sweet paper...along with your sequins. Beautifully done, sweet friend! Hugs!
