Sad to say I am in need of another sympathy card, when I went through my challenges I thought the Time Out Challenge blog had a Black and white with green inspiration photo and that would work for this card for a guy in our church who lost his Dad.
It ended up being a little more than what I usually like to do for a sympathy but I went with it anyway.
In this picture maybe you can see how I popped up some of the leaves with foam tape and the rest I adhered directly to the paper. I did add a bit of ink to the leaves to tone it down a bit.
Best Ocassions - Mixed Media paper
Memory Box - Fresh Foliage
Hero Arts - Everyday sayings sentiment stamp
Spellbinders - Labels trio die
This challenge is open until the 25th if you are interested.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, and hope you have a great week ahead.
Connie

Another lovely card. I do like how you popped up some of the leaves. Great idea!
This is so lovely! I have that leaf die and I loved how you used it against the other leaf background.
Beautiful card! Love the color combination and the bold design!
Hi, Connie - I'm sad to hear you need another sympathy card. You are always so thoughtful in letting others know they are in your thoughts, and important to you. Your black and white and green theme is beautiful, and the dimension you created is even prettier! Thank you for increasing your font size on your blog. I can read it now! I appreciate it. hugs de

Wow, this is striking! I love the color combo. Nice way to play off the paper. Not too much for a masculine sympathy card. It's beautiful, Connie.
