Warbler

This is my first time using the Leafy branch oval, I saw it and thought that would be great for my birds :) I used a few scraps to make up my bird. I colored the oval with markers and added these flowers to it made with more scraps. I added a few clouds behind with a stencil. I added the sentiment sticker along the curve of the die.

  • PoppyStamps - Leafy Branch Oval die, colored with markers
  • Simon Says - Layered Warbler die
  • My Favorite Things - Cloud Stencil
  • Crate Paper - Gingham Garden paper
  • Tim Holtz - Funky Florals #3 dies (flowers)
  • Starfrom - Text Stickers, colored w/gold marker

I would like to share my card today with Simon Says Wednesday challenge blog
and the Triple B challenge, I used birds and blossoms. NBUS Challenge #71 (Leafy Branch die)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, we are getting colder again and have snow coming early next week, winter is not done with us for sure.

A very lovely card. So unique to have flowers on the corner outside of your focal point. The sky & branches look beautiful against that lovely bird. Very nice work.

Your Warbler card is delightful. The combination of the Leafy Branch Oval and the layered Warbler die creates a beautiful scene. The addition of flowers and the clouds in the background adds a lovely touch.

Connie, the branch oval is really pretty and perfect for your bird! I can hardly pass up a bird die if it's different from others in my stash. I love this one made up with the papers, plus the woodgrain and flowers in the background. So lovely!
