I was put in charge of the food at our Easter Eggstravaganza at Church this past Saturday, we fed a little less than 200 people, and as you can imagine that can't happen by yourself. I was in need of some thank you notes to those people that helped out, to make it a success.
I was only able to make two cards today, my sciatic nerve is just not cooperating with me still but with the help of using calendar images from the back of the calendars, I was able to get two made!
The paper was free with the Cardmaking and Papercrafts magazine,
Spellbinder lacy square and Big scalloped circles large dies
Martha Stewart leaf punch
Piercing along the brown strip
Paper from same pack as above
Spellbinder scalloped squares small die
Martha Stewart scalloped circle punch for sentiment
Ribbon from Michaels
The sentiments were in a box of thank you notes to make
Hoping to feel up to making the rest tomorrow, but we will see.
Hope your all enjoy a great start to your week,
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

What a lovely thing first to make the meal and then to say thank you to those that helped! Hope you're able to keep going with them :) Lovely job!
Great use of a calendar! Your cards look fabulous! Feeding 200 is hard work. Hopefully some rest will help that nerve after such a big job.
cute cards.Take care of yourself!
hugs!
The cards are wonderful, Connie. What a service you have given.. 200 people. WOW!
These are both so pretty, but I'm partial to the first one. I love that image and the little leaf die cut behind the sentiment is so sweet! Hope you are feeling better soon. Big Hugs!
Very pretty cards :) I love birds and flowers, beautiful :)
These are so sweet too! I love the top one that has the leafy branch sticking out from under the sentiment! Adorable!
