Get well soon

My friend recently had knee surgery, so yes once again I used that paper pack but I added a printed image from Graphic Fairy this time. The image had a blank space so I added a stamped sentiment to it.  I matted the image onto cardstock and used dimensional tape on the back. Before applying I added some twine that I wrapped around a couple times and tied it off with a bow!

  • 49 and Market - Peach 6x8 mini collection paper
  • Graphics Fairy - Printed image
  • Spellbinders - A2 matting basics A die
  • Hero Arts - Everyday sayings sentiment stamp
  • Twine

Thinking of you

One of the girls in our cardmaking group lost her brother.  The tag in this sticker pack already had a gold leaf on it, but looked a little empty so I added another flower sticker to it. The border is a sticker out of the pack too. Sentiment is a stamp. I used a piece of paper from my scrap bin.

  • Recollections - Stickers (Frame, Flower and Border)
  • The Greetery - Thinking of you sentiment stamp
  • Scrap paper

Autumn Embossing

Using more of the papers I shared in my last card. This time using a new to me embossing folder, I have had it for some time but just never gave it a try and I decided to use pattern paper with it to see how that would look. This embossing folder cut the inside of the flowers out, so I added orange strips to the back to make the cut out parts stand out against all that pattern. Then I took my small ink brush and added some inks to the raised areas of the embossing.

  • 49 and Market - Peach 6x8 mini collection
  • Spellbinders - Blooming Sprigs Cut & Emboss folder, inking on raised areas
  • Diamond Press - Ribbon die

Best Birthday

Well I did it, I bought the same paper pack twice.  I hear about others doing it but it finally happened to me. The stamp store has a clearance section and I only go there a few times a year, so when I went this last time and they had these papers that I thought would look great for my Autumn cards and it was 40% off I just had to get it. When I was going through my papers for another card, guess what I found, yep the same paper pack that I had already bought off her clearance the time before must be because that one was 40% off too, at least I got them both on sale.  So since I had two packs of the same papers I decided to see if I could use up one of the packs this Autumn since I will have a whole other pack to use.  So you will be seeing a lot of it over the next month :)  The time before I had picked up some laser cuts too so I have enough for both paper packs probably.

  • 49 and Market - Peach 6x8 Mini collection paper, Peach Laser cut Elements (Flowers and tag behind it, butterfly, Sentiment tag and Faux ribbon)
  • Simon Says stamps - Tiny words Birthday sentiment stamp

Picture show

I had to use this reel again I think it is so neat. I cut the smallest images I could find to fit in each little slot of the picture reel that you could somewhat tell what it was. and used a film strip behind it. Used some of Tim's new paper pack for the background and the middle of the reel is a sticker from Amazon.

  • Tim Holtz - Neutral papers, Vault Picture show dies and Clippings Sticker book (sentiment)
  • Amazon - Sticker

Get well Soon

I know I said I would post guy cards every other one but there has been challenges that I am using things for ladies cards, I will get back to the guy cards :)  I am really trying hard to use more Advent calendar goodies before I start opening my new one in December and I managed to use quite a bit on this one card. A lady in our church had back surgery.

I started with coloring this pretty stamp, cutting it out with a wavy die from the set and using an embossing folder and sentiment too. I added a die cut to go between the embossing and pattern paper.

  • Diamond Press - Advent Calendar 2025- Stamp set (flowers and sentiment, colored w/markers, wavy Square die, embossing folder
  • Cheery Lynn Designs - Alison's Ribbons die
  • BasicGrey - Porcelain paper
Here is a close up of the embossing folder, I think this is the prettiest folder of all the ones I have gotten from Advent calendars.

I would like to share my card today with the following challenges :

Fold Card

I did this card with my group over Teams and I totally forgot to write down the measurements as we were making it this time. With all the folds it is a thick card but I was able to hand deliver it to a lady in our church so that was ok. I hope if you want to give it a try you can figure out a way to make it with your own measurements.

  • DCWV - Linen Closet paper
  • Simply Cards and Papercrafts Magazine - Layered Peonies stamp and die set
  • Ecstasy Crafts - Birthday Stickers, colored w/marker
  • Martha Stewart - Butterfly punch
  • Paper Studio - Gems
I didn't get a very good close up but gave it to her before checking my pictures.

Tag Birthday

I was looking for something else when I came upon these Hunkydory papers and ephemera for card making, I can not remember where or when I got them they were not with anything like it, so not sure how they were stored this way. Glad I came upon them, they made a pretty card for my nephews wife.

Masculine Birthday

I went to my scraps to make this card, I keep all things after cutting things out just incase I can use them and this frame is one of them.  The background papers are many thin strips I had left over and the piece in the center is from a box.  The images are one from the junk journal stickers I bought on Amazon. Finished off with some gems, this one was hand delivered to one of our guy friends so I could use the bigger gems.

  • Amazon - Junk Journal Stickers
  • Basic Grey - Periphery paper
  • Ecstasy Crafts - Happy Birthday Silver stickers
  • Frame from left over of cutting out rectangle dies, corrugated cardboard
  • Queen & Co. - Nightfall Gems

Chirp for Joy

I found this cardmaking magazine at Barnes and Nobles with many bird stamps inside and I just had to get it.  I colored him like a woodpecker since that is the bird I enjoy watching eating from our suet. I had to have something for the suet to hang from so I die cut a branch, added a brad to look like it is nailed to the branch and added some flowers.

  • Creative Stamping Magazine - The Beauty of Birds stamp set, colored w/markers, sentiment stamp from same stamp set
  • Spellbinders - Labels 29 and Cherry Blossom Dies
  • Recollections - Brad
  • K&co.- Hannah cardstock pad

Special Delivery

I have a lot of male birthdays in my family in the Fall. I will try to separate them so I don't have all men's post and do the gals in between :) The grid in the background was stamped, and the notebook page. The only thing that isn't the 49 and Market dies is the paper and sticker I used on the front piece.

  • 49 and Market - Creative Combo's Stamps and dies
  • Basic Grey - Periphery Papers
  • Amazon Stickers
