Happy Independence Day

Hope you all are enjoying your 4th Celebrations.  We have been in the 100's for over a week now, so they have cancelled the fireworks that we normally go to because of excessive heat and dry conditions, we have not had rain in quite awhile either.  We had allready decided that we probably would not be going, just too hot for us anyway.

Onto the card.... I have been watching the videos that papertrey ink does on their flower stamping so I thought I would give it a try, I still need practice.  The flower in the right hand corner has been cut out and popped up.

I used Inkadinkado Nature stamp set (flowers and leaves)
Inkadinkado All Occasions stamp set for sentiment
Gems for center of big flowers
Button from stash and Twine from LSS

I also thought I would share my first pickings from my garden, these were picked a few weeks ago, I just kept forgetting to post it.  I thought I was planting all green pepper plants and I accidentally bought banana pepper plants, not sure what to do with them, if anyone has any ideas I would love if you shared them with me :)

I accidentally knocked off that little green pepper when trying to pick one of the big ones.

Wishing you all a safe and fun day today!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Connie

Hi Connie your card turned out really cute. I heard how hot it is in the midwest. We get to over 100 here every year so it is not shocking weather for CA. Our humidly though is usually low but sometimes it has been quite high for us like about 56 with over 100 is to hot and sticky. Thank goodness for air conditioners. I do wonder how our ancestors lived without them. Have a happy 4th of July!

Isn't fresh from the garden produce the best? Love the colors you used on the card!
