Susan had another sketch for this month and I thought it would work perfectly for the card I wanted to make for my hubby's Uncle who is recovering from a triple by pass surgery. I had to do the sketch a little different to accomadate my larger image though. You can find the sketch Here on her blog.
The image is from a Thomas Kinkade Painter of Light Daily Calendar. I thought this was a nice soothing image. It has been layered onto a grey cardstock.
Base cardstock is from Paper co.
Sentiment stamp from KaiserCraft has been put on kraft cardstock.
Fiskar border punch, inking.
Inkadinkado Butterfly stamp
Spellbinders Circles die
Going to a funeral today, Greg's bosses wife died from cancer, she was 2 years younger than me, it is so sad to see the young teens and young adults trying to cope with it all. Reminds you of how precious every second you have with your family is.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend,
Connie

What a beautiful card, Connie. I love the 90 degree rotation in the sketch. Hope your DH's uncle is recovering nicely.
So sorry for your friend's loss.
Beautiful recycling of the calendar page. It's hard to throw something like that away, isn't it? Wishing for your uncle-in-law's quick and thorough recovery.
beautiful!!!!!
hope he is recuperating well!!!!
tfs:)
Wow, Connie, this is just lovely and your uncle will love it!! What a great idea too!
I just love Thomas Kinkade prints. I have one of the larger canvas paintings called Carmel, Sunset on Ocean Avenue, and I never get tired of looking at it. My DH and I even got married there after buying it. Your card is beautiful. I love the gray matting with the orange base--just like the church windows.
What a beautiful card!
Wonderful use of a beautiful calendar! Hope your uncle has a speedy recovery!
