ODBDSLC141

Our Daily Bread Designs challenge this week is to case someone's card that you admirer. You can find all the details about the challenge HERE on their blog.

When I saw how Angie colored this lighthouse I just knew I needed this stamp, and this is my take on it.

ODBD --Keep my Lamp Burning (lighthouse) and All Occasion sentiments (sentiment)
DCWV-- Rustic Paper
Martha Stewart-- Border punch
Scoring, above the punched border and above the image

I cut out the lighthouse and gave it some dimension, the background was done with chalk and distress inks.  The card measures 4 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches.

I grew up in Michigan and there is nothing better than watching a sunrise or sunset over the water.  I always feel so close to God in those situations, his creation is just amazing!!!

There are many more wonderful inspiration for this stamp and others over at Our Daily Bread Designs in their gallery.

My Daughter and Son in law are in Boston, getting ready for the big storm to come their way, I told her to take plenty of pictures, something they can share with their kids some day :)

Hope everyone stays safe and enjoys a wonderful weekend,
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Connie
