Best Wishes

While we were stationed in England I met a very nice woman through our kids and we became good friends, and 14 years later we still keep in touch, this is the card I sent to her.

This stamp came in the Quick cards magazine, I colored her with markers.

The Spellbinder die I used is Nobel Rectangles, I first cut the die out of white cardstock, then I cut a piece of green cardstock a little bigger than the die, layered them on top of one another and put it through again this time just embossing it and this was my result, I love the way the green cardstock pops through the white die cut.

My mind's eye -- quite contrary paper
Wild Rose studio -- sentiment tag die cut
Flowers and leaves are die cuts
BasicGrey -- Brad (flower center)
Lace -- won from Sabrina

We had a very rainy week last week but yesterday we saw some sunshine and it is trying to peek out again.  Hope you all are enjoying a great weekend.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Connie

What a sweet card Connie. Love the darling image and the coloring. The decorative rectangle looks fabulous with the touch of green peeking out from behind.

Hi Connie

Lovely card, great job. I didn't know you had several kids I thought you just had the daughter.
My dad was in the USAF so as I child I was moved to and fro, I didn't like it. We lived in France for many years.
We've had weather in the 70's and very cold at night, but we are only going to get to 60 today. We've had no rain to speak of and we need it bad.
Have a lovely new week!
