Sorry so late in getting another card posted, I have had a bit of problem with my Vertigo again and just getting the housework and things done was about all I did. Things seem to be better now, just a little dizzy but no spinning, so that is very nice.
A friend at church has a son that has joined the Air Force, just a couple of days after graduating and he is gone to Basic Training, they are very close and it is a bit rough on them, so I just wanted to send her a card, letting her know she raised a wonderful young man and reminding her that God will be by his side and hers every step of this new beginning. When I saw this image in my daily calendar I thought it would be perfect for her.
I had some flowers already made up that I thought went perfect with the flowers in the paper so I added them to the vine, not sure if you could see that in the first card so here is a close up of the added flowers.
Mary Engelbreits -- 2014 Daily calendar page for image
Spellbinders-- A2 matting basics A, Decorative Labels Eight dies
Impression Obseesion -- Spiral flowers dies
Memory box -- Butterfly delights die
Colorbok -- Rosewood paper
Stickles -- Yellow (flower center)
Liquid Pearls -- Mint green (on butterfly)
Well I have to get going, taking Peanut in for a nail trim and then back home to get some things done before the kids arrive tomorrow night, so excited to see them even though the visit will be very quick.
Hope your week is going very well,
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

Oh, my, Connie! That is very beautiful and it is absolutely perfect for your friend under the circumstances. She will be touched. I'm sorry to hear your vertigo returned and I hope it doesn't plan to stay too long this time. There are way too many things to do, aren't there?

Amen! A very lovely card Connie, your friend will be so blessed to receive this gift of love from you. I'm sorry to hear of your vertigo . . . my mother-in-law suffers from it, it's a very frustrating thing to go through. Praying you're feeling better soon. Sending you hugs!!!
Very sweet! I love how you added the flowers and butterfly on top of the designer paper. The blue rectangle looks great behind the main panel. Very eye-catching!
Wonderful!! It's sure a difficult moment for them. Your card must be very encouraging at this time Connie. It has got some beautiful wordings just for the right time :) And your added flowers are really cute and gives a good bright dimension to the card.Have a blessed day.

It must be hard to have your son leave to boot camp for sure, so nice of you to cheer them up. I am starting to return to normal life again. Yay! Have a blessed Sunday. Hugs
