I was in a rut so I went looking through my old Papercrafts magazines and found this design and it gave me the inspiration for this card. I hadn't used these stamps in many years, they are on long wooden sticks and they are meant to create a flower scene with them, so I just had to get them out and see what I came up with :) The center of the flowers are done with a pen.
Scenic Route paper co. -- Cerulean gold dots paper
Quik kutz -- Vines embossing folder
Fiskar -- Corner Rounder punch
Spellbinders -- Labels 4 and Labels trio dies
Rubberstamp Tapestry -- Butterfly Blooms stamps
Queen &co. -- yellow sunshine pearls
We have one cool day this week, so we are going to try and tackle our garage. Since we don't have a basement that is where alot of things are put through out the winter and it needs to be organized badly. Hope you all are enjoying your week, we are almost at the weekend!!!
Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by and for leaving your comments it means so much to me,
Connie

Hi Connie...I know what you mean when you get in a rut...happens to me alot....kinda like writers block!

Wow, Connie, your card is warm and so pretty too! I know the stamps you are talking about. I have some too! Your creativity made a really pretty BD card!
Beautiful card Connie. Those stamps are great. It turned out perfect!
Good luck with the garage organization :) I've actually finished my craft reorganization and have now started going though the rest of the house. I spent hours today, sorting through & shredding tons of old papers (I'll shred more tomorrow, ewe). Then I talked to hubby today and we've decided to tackle our garage this weekend. I can't wait until it's all done... I love being organized. Happy summer clean-up :):):)
Hugs,
Lisa
So sweet and pretty Connie. Love those tiny blooms and the dry embossed panel. Hope the clean up went well.
Oooh, love those pretty little flowers, ferns, and ivy leaves! And the embossing, and the perfectly combined colors, and the layout... you did good! It's generally the card design that hangs me up. I could color till the cows come home. I need to get back to starting with the layout. So much easier. Hope your garage clean up went well. I'm completely disabled by the heat, so it's a good thing we only get those exceedingly hot days a couple times a year.
Beautiful card Connie! Love your style of using different colour combinations and there's always a variety in your cards which I like the most.
