Mistakes Challenge

There are so many mistakes we can make when creating our projects and there was a whole list of them that we can make while card making.  One of the girls in our group gave us a list of mistakes and we had to use at least 3 of them in a way that looked pretty on our card.

My mistakes were
 torn paper
Embossing powder spots
Crooked cutting (on tag in corner)

Rubber Stampede: 15205 sunflower stamp Colored w/ markers
Hero Arts -- Birthday messages stamp set
Queen & co. Sunflower yellow gems
Gold embossing powder

In the first picture you can't see the shine of the embossing on the bottom that I also did so I had to angle the card a bit to capture it in this next picture.

I can tell I am getting better but not quite my normal self yet, but very thankful to be this far. Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers that were said, it really means a lot to me.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and I hope your having a good weekend!

Connie

I'm hard pressed to find your mistakes even after you listed them! I really liked the foil embossing!
Hope you are feeling much better and can resume your walking schedule!
Have a great weekend!

Now that's an interesting challenge! Your "mistakes" turned into a great looking card. I hate to tell you how many times my card designs are the result of fixing a mistake. They happen! Hope you continue to feel better each day. It sounds a lot like something that hit one of the gals at work.

Oh, dear Connie, I am sorry you are still not feeling well, and I pray that God would restore your health. Now, where are the mistakes? LOL! I like to think of our mistakes as opportunities to expand our creativity! And I see that they did that for you. Your card is beautiful with the lovely sunflower and embossing, and I love the torn paper (something I find very hard to do...hehe!). Hugs, sweet friend, and may you find rest and restore health!
