Welcome

Made a card to Welcome our new Pastor here and congrats on finding a new home,

I added yellow paper behind the houses and have all the doors open, I thought his three young boys might like that you can open the doors.  The tree was cut from white cardstock and colored with markers. The sky was sponged with distress ink in tumbled glass.

Poppytstamps -- Brevilla Houses and Stitched Landscapes dies
Spellbinders -- Whimsical tree
Taylored Expressions -- Many mini Occasions sentiment stamp

I forgot to let you know that Randy was released from the hospital a couple days ago and is even walking a bit now around his block, I guess the broke ribs is the most painful thing he feels he is dealing with. I will share the card I made for him next time.

Thanks so much for taking the time out to stop by and say Hi,

Connie

A beautiful card Connie, and a lovely idea to welcome them this way... And love your cute boy in a tree card down below,as well!!
Thanks for popping over and your kind comments on my cards.

The die cut corners are actually the SB Fleur de Lis square which I cut up quite often for conrners see this post here:

It's surprising sometimes using die cut differently to how they are intended,,see others doing this too,

Oh, Connie, this is just the sweetest and most welcoming card for your new pastor! I love that there are "lights"on in the houses and the doors are open "welcoming" the new family. How precious! And praise God that Randy has been released from the hospital. Yes, those ribs will take some time to heal. Will continue to pray. Hugs, sweet friend!

Oh that is neat! I hope your new Pastor Styles in well -
There's so much more welcome and meaning in a hand made, considered card.
That will say much to him (her?).
Great news about R., though bruised ribs are sharply painful.
